Ammon was honored to help serve food at the Piestewa home for the annual Lori Piestewa Navajo Hopi Honor Ride, which honors fallen warriors. Ammon is pictured here with Percy Piestewa who lost her daughter, Lori, in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. [Click here to learn more.]

Ammon attending the Cameron Chapter Meeting. He spoke about the need for better connection between the Navajo Nation and the County Attorney’s Office. He also spoke about the efforts being made by his office to address the issues of missing and murdered indigenous persons and improving access to justice throughout the Navajo Nation via remote means.

Ammon was awarded the Heart of Gold award at the annual Taste of Flagstaff event β€œin recognition of [his] dedication and service to pursuing justice for victims of crime.” At the same event, Ammon recognized Debbie Fresquez, who is retiring after 17-year career advocating for victims!
